The hinge on this case is precision-molded enough that the lid clicks shut without any wobble, and it slides into my pocket just as easily as the bare case did. I've dropped it twice on tile and there's not a scratch on the charging case underneath.
The clip holds the lid shut so securely that I stopped worrying about it popping open in my bag, and the cutouts line up perfectly with the charging port. It's slim enough that the case still slides into my pocket without a bulky lump.
I dropped my charging case on the tile floor twice this week and the Catalyst case took both hits without a scratch, plus the cutouts line up perfectly for the charging port. It's slim enough that it still slides into my pocket without a bulge, which was my main worry before buying.
